Minutemen Losing Streak at 10 After Extra-Inning Loss to Dynamos
Boston left fielder Ben McCarty was sensational. He was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Detroit beat the Minutemen, 8-7. Detroit pitcher Harry Sharp got the win, upping his record to 2-2. Johnny Harry got the loss. Detroit has now won 3 straight, while the Minutemen have lost 10 in a row.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Stan Kleminski came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Boston pitcher Johnny Harry, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Detroit on top, 8-7.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Kleminski said after the game.
