Brown Fashions Shutout Against Falcons | Ed Brown was in a mood to talk following the Nagasaki Stars contest against the Fukuoka Falcons, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Falcons, 5-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Brown said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked Fukuoka on a 3-hitter, allowing 1 walk and racking up 6 strikeouts.
To date this season Brown has compiled a 13-8 record with a 2.86 ERA in 23 starts. | |
