Falcons Lose By a Run at Nagasaki, 2-1 | The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Nagasaki fans at Nagasaki Prefecture Stadium.
The Nagasaki Stars got a stellar performance from pitcher Isato Kosaka, who handcuffed the Fukuoka offense en route to a win, 2-1, at Nagasaki Prefecture Stadium. The Western League-leading Stars have a record of 28-15.
With no one out in the bottom of the sixth, Yasushi Mori put Nagasaki in front, 2-1, with a run-scoring single. The Stars went on to win the ballgame.
"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Mori. | |
