Sailors Handed 9-3 Loss by Cleveland
Cleveland second baseman Jim Urquhart contributed to his team's 9-3 win over the Philadelphia Sailors. Urquhart, who is tied for 8th in the CA in doubles with 33, went 4 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Foresters. The slumping Sailors have dropped 9 in a row.

The Foresters got an important contribution from third baseman Lloyd Coulter, who in the bottom of the first punched a 2-2 changeup into right-center for a 2-run double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Foresters ahead, 3-0.

"We're our own worst enemy right now," said Philadelphia skipper Ernie Sprenkle.
