Saints Get Past New York for 4-3 Win | Montreal Saints starter Bert Cupid was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the New York Stars, 4-3. Montreal is in first place in the Continental Association with a record of 67-51.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Montreal right fielder Bill Greene, facing George Scruggs, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Saints the 4-3 win.
