6-3 Win Takes Cannons to 49-42 | In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Behind a fine performance from Fred Galloway, the Cincinnati Cannons knocked off the Montreal Saints, 6-3. Galloway was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Cannons. The Cannons, at 49-42, sit in third place in the Continental Association.
Galloway contributed in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Cincinnati get the win.
"We'll put that win in the can," said Galloway, "and go after the next one." | |
