The Boston Minutemen got a stellar performance from pitcher Charlie Todd, who handcuffed the Philadelphia offense en route to a win, 6-2, at Broad Street Park II. At 39-43, Boston is in 5th place in the Federal Association.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ben McCarty? The Boston left fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Minutemen on top, 2-0. For the game, McCarty had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
