Keystones Top Eagles to Even Record | Philadelphia and Washington duked it out at Capital Grounds and the Keystones came out victorious.
The Washington Eagles went down to defeat to Bill Ross and his Philadelphia teammates. The final score was 4-2 in favor of the Keystones. In 9 innings, Ross surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.
The Keystones got a gift in the top of the fourth inning, when they were trailing 1-0. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Claude Castaneda reached on an error by the SS, driving in 2 runs. It made the score 2-1, Philadelphia.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Castaneda.
