Lewis Lifts Kings to 5-2 Triumph
The Brooklyn Kings defeated the New York Stars, 5-2, at Kings County Park II today. Leading the charge for Brooklyn was second baseman Chuck Lewis. He was 3 for 3 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The third-place Kings have won 4 consecutive games.

Lewis contributed in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Brooklyn get the win.

Lewis called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
