Chiefs Walk It Off for 30th Win of Season
Chicago pitcher John Stallings did his part in helping his team beat the Pittsburgh Miners, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Chicago is 30-36 and Pittsburgh, with the loss, 31-36.

Chicago won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Art Brandon on the mound for Pittsburgh, third baseman Len Stewart hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Chiefs fans to their feet.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Stallings said.
