Cleveland Rallies to 7-5 Win
Sherry Doyal was a vital contributor to the 7-5 Cleveland victory over Cincinnati. The Foresters right fielder went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Jake Pearson. His record now stands at 4-3. The left-hander went 7 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits for the Foresters. The save went to Sonny Stoyer, number 2 for him.

Stan Kleminski came through with a big-time hit for Cleveland. The second baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 7-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Doyal told the Cleveland Bulletin. "Whatever it takes."

The Continental Association-leading Foresters are 35-20.
