The right-hander led the Philadelphia Keystones to a 6-3 win against the Los Angeles Suns at Wilshire Park. Charlie Rushing earned the save for Philadelphia, his 3rd. Philadelphia improves to 10-8 as they look to defend their championship.
Bob G. Murphy came through with a big-time hit for Philadelphia. The second baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 6-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
