The Kings got a big at-bat from third baseman William Buttry. For the game, Buttry went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Kansas City a 5-1 lead.
