Imperials Suffer 6-4 Home Loss
The New York Imperials topped the Cleveland Foresters, 6-4, in Continental Association action at Forester Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of New York pitcher Milt Lane. Eddie Webb, credited with the save, is now 8 for 19 in save opportunities. Cleveland has now lost 5 straight.

It could have been a different outcome for New York, had it not been for Jack Woods, the 28-year old right fielder . Woods contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put New York up, 1-0.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Lane said.
