San Francisco turned a good effort from starter George Fuller into a win over the Los Angeles Stars at Bigsby Stadium. The Sailors won the game, 9-0. The Sailors sport a record of 97-54.

Fuller, who was born in Lorain, Ohio, threw 103 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.

"We have a lot of confidence in George," said San Francisco manager Walt Zecher.
