Philadelphia used a superb performance from starting pitcher Joe Kienle to down the Los Angeles Suns, 2-1. The Keystones improved to 88-64.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Lloyd Coulter contributed a big hit for the Keystones. With Philadelphia trailing 1-0, he hammered a solo home run.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Philadelphia manager Don Fox.
