Wranglers Stumble, Lose to Wolves
Tom Reed was instrumental in his team's 10-4 triumph over the Dallas Wranglers. The left fielder went 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Toronto Wolves. Lee Loeffler was the winner. He's now 11-6. The loser was 38-year old right-handed pitcher Gene Amico. Toronto has rattled off 4 straight wins.

Reed contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Toronto in the top of the third. With his team trailing 3-2, Reed took a fastball from Gene Amico and stroked the home run to right. His 25th home run of the season allowed the Wolves to leap in front, 4-3.

"We hit the ball hard," said Toronto manager Randy Hohlt. "Line drive after line drive."
