The Cleveland Foresters powered past the Chicago Cougars, 9-6, at Forester Stadium. Hal Kennedy was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2, to lead the charge. Harry Tracy earned the save for Cleveland, his 3rd. The Foresters, at 71-71, sit in 7th place in the Continental Association.

John Power had a big 2-run triple for the Foresters in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Cleveland trailing 4-3 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a changeup from former first round draft pick Don Griffin and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Foresters ahead, 5-4.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Kennedy.
