Wolves Stumble, Lose to Sailors | The home crowd had a good time watching the Toronto Wolves and San Francisco Sailors get after it.
San Francisco Sailors starter Hank Lacey was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Toronto Wolves, 9-3. The Sailors are now 62-42.
San Francisco center fielder Herbert Crawford Jr. contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 81st hit of the season and put the Sailors ahead, 3-0.
