Cannons Lose at Home, 4-3
The Cincinnati Cannons picked up a win at Dominion Stadium, dropping the Toronto Wolves, 4-3. Jim York, who finished 4th in the CA in innings pitched with 242.1 in 1960, was the difference-maker. Paul Williams closed the door for Cincinnati, picking up his 20th save of the year. With the win, the Cannons have a record of 52-46.

Cincinnati used the hitting of Dallas Berry to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Cannons on top, 2-0. For the game, Berry had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Bottom line," said Toronto skipper Randy Hohlt, "we didn't play well enough to win."
