The New York Imperials and Montreal Saints delighted fans at Stade Montreal.

Montreal Saints starter Eddie Bowman turned in a top-notch performance against the New York Imperials at Stade Montreal. The result was a win for the Saints, 6-2. New York's current losing streak is now 5 games.

In the bottom of the first, Montreal shortstop Art Robbins had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out, Robbins stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 2-0, Montreal. For the game, he went 1-2 with 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

Montreal manager Lynn Gray was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
