Chiefs Sunk by Gothams
New York first baseman Hank Estill contributed significantly to his team's 7-4 win over the Chicago Chiefs. Estill, who finished 2nd in the FA in home runs with 39 in 1957, went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Gothams. Chicago has now lost 5 in a row.

Had Estill not come through in the bottom of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Estill hit a 2-run single. The Gothams took the lead, 6-4, and never looked back.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Estill.
