The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Arita, the winner, moves to 4-3. He threw 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 3 walks. The win gives Rakisuta a season record of 19-18.
In the bottom of the fifth, with the game tied, Sapporo allowed the Rams to go up, 1-0, on a Sapporo error.
