Onodera Hits 2 home runs in Rams Win
Rakisuta beat Denki in a rain-soaked ballgame.

The Rakisuta Rams finished off the Denki Dynamics, 9-1. Much of the credit belonged to right fielder Sukeichi Onodera. Onodera belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Rams. Masakado Matsuda, the winner, improved to 3-0. He held Denki to 1 run on 6 hits over 6.2 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts.

With Rakisuta leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Onodera hit a splitter from Tom Hodges for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Rams ahead, 4-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Onodera told the Rakisuta Chronicle.

Denki, with the loss, is 7-7.
