What a day for Charlie Rogers. The 33-year-old Kansas City center fielder reached the 2500-hit mark today and the Kings whipped the Montreal Saints 7-2.

Rogers told reporters, "It's good to finally get it. The closer you get to 2500, the harder it is to get there. Now the pressure is off and I can go back to just playing ball."

He went 4 for 5 in the game to reach the milestone.
