Montreal third baseman Andy Gilman helped his team beat the Toronto Wolves, 13-4. Gilman, who is tied for 6th in the CA in RBI with 66, went 2 for 4 for the Saints. The win was credited to Jerry Duncan in relief. His record improves to 6-3. Hank Griffith took the loss. The 8th-place Saints now sit at 38-50.

Gilman contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Montreal in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Gilman took a fastball from Hank Griffith and stroked the home run to right. His 18th home run of the season allowed the Saints to leap in front, 3-1.

"This was one of those games you love to be a part of," said Gilman.
