Harry Pomeroy had a big hand in the 7-6 Toronto triumph over Kansas City. He rattled off 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scoring 2 times and knocking in 2 runs. Toronto is now 67-82, Kansas City 85-62.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Toronto trailing 6-5, Pomeroy hit a curveball from Mike Thorpe for a 2-run single. In the blink of an eye, the Wolves had a walk-off win.
