The Toronto Wolves beat the Montreal Saints, 4-1. Toronto pitcher and Water Valley, Mississippi, native William Benns led the way. Fred Clark was credited with the save for Toronto, his 3rd of the season. Toronto occupies last place in the Continental Association at 65-82.

In the top of the first inning, second baseman Joe DeMott had a solo home run for Toronto. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Wolves on top, 1-0.
