The Philadelphia Keystones eked out a 2-1 win versus the Pittsburgh Miners at Broad Street Park II. Nobody did more than pitcher Bill Sohl. He was terrific. The winner was Sohl. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Howie Harris. Philadelphia, at 68-76, sits in 5th place in the Federal Association.

Making an impact for the home team was Ted Haggarty. In the bottom of the fourth, the 25-year old right fielder had a run-scoring ground out. That made the score 2-0, Keystones.

"It's great to be on a roll," said Haggarty.
