The Boston Minutemen beat the Los Angeles Suns, 7-5, at Minuteman Stadium. Ed Wise, who finished 5th in the FA in home runs with 32 in 1960, starred for Boston. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The Minutemen raised their record to 44-72.

Del Robinson, the Boston shortstop, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 4-1, Minutemen. For the game, Robinson went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Minutemen manager Bill Freeman. "This one was nice to get."
