Duncan Whips Washington, 3-0 | A favor to his bullpen. That's what Johnny Duncan was doing at Minuteman Stadium, as he blanked the Washington Eagles, 3-0.
"I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the Boston Minutemen right-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid."
Duncan notched 4 strikeouts, surrendered 3 walks, allowed 5 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long.
To date this season, Duncan is 11-11 with 27 starts and an ERA of 2.68 with 95 strikeouts in 191.1 innings. | |
