Keystones Rally to Nose Past Chicago
The Philadelphia Keystones locked up a win at Broad Street Park II, knocking off the Chicago Chiefs, 3-2. On the mound for Philadelphia was right-hander Bill Sohl. He played a major role in the triumph. The win was credited to Tony Dixon in relief. His record improves to 19-9. Charlie Bingham took the loss. The setback makes Chicago 71-68.

Jeep Erickson was the walk-off hero for Philadelphia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Keystones pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

After the game, Philadelphia manager Carl Ames applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
