The Philadelphia Keystones picked up a win at Fitzpatrick Park, dropping the Pittsburgh Miners, 5-1. Ted Beaven, who is tied for 7th in the FA with a 1.30 WHIP, was the difference-maker. The Keystones go to 57-77, putting them 7th in the Federal Association.
Beaven earned the win to move to 10-10. In his 9-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 5 and walking 2. The right-hander allowed the Miners few scoring opportunities.
