Wolves Upend Cannons, 6-2
The Toronto Wolves picked up a win at Dominion Stadium, knocking off the Cincinnati Cannons, 6-2. Starting pitcher Lynn Horn played a key role in the triumph. Horn got the win, improving to 16-11. He gave up 4 hits and walked 4 over 9 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Toronto now owns a record of 61-75.

Toronto took a 3-2 lead on Kirby Copeland's 32nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Copeland hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Cincinnati pitcher Don Bitters visibly frustrated.

"When you win, you always have confidence," said Toronto skipper Jim Whitehead. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
