| Stars Stumble, Lose to Saints | At Bigsby Stadium, the Los Angeles Stars and Montreal Saints were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Montreal Saints picked up a win at Bigsby Stadium, taking down the Los Angeles Stars, 8-4. Starting pitcher Duke Edin was a big reason why. Montreal occupies 9th place in the Continental Association at 18-33.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ralph Hanson? The Montreal second baseman had a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put the Saints on top, 4-0. For the game, Hanson had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Edin.
