Visiting Foresters Beat Kings, 7-4 | The Cleveland Foresters cut down the Kansas City Kings by the score of 7-4, with the largest share of the credit going to catcher Mark Smith. Smith went 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk for the Foresters. Cleveland pitcher Rufus Barrell II got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Walt Staton got the loss. Lou Robertson wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.
In the top of the sixth, Cleveland pitcher Rufus Barrell II gave his team the lead. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Deuce hit his 1st double of the year. Kansas City pitcher Walt Staton surrendered it. With that, the Foresters jumped in front, 5-4.
