Centurions Sneak By Thunderbirds, 3-2 | The Dallas Centurions eked out a 3-2 win versus the Seattle Thunderbirds at Centurions Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Ed Brown. He was terrific. The 4th-place Centurions have won 4 in a row.
Ken Wiley was the walk-off hero for Dallas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Centurions pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Brown told reporters after the game. | |
