Grays Lose at Home, 6-4, to Dallas
Despite a great performance by Oakland left fielder Clyde Zimmerman, the Dallas Centurions defeated the Grays by the score of 6-4 at Oakland Grays Baseball Park. Zimmerman went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. George Rotondi picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-9. He struck out 0 in 9 innings. Dallas is 4th in the Great Western League with a record of 36-39.

Dallas used the bat of Al Gross to get the win. The second baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Centurions ahead, 6-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Gross.
