Guzzo 6-for-6 for Green Sox
It was a good day for the Green Sox at Centurions Ballpark as they clipped the Dallas Centurions, 16-0. It was tremendous day for Johnny Guzzo, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 6-for-6.

"I don't know what to call that," the Portland shortstop told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well."

Johnny Guzzo singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Tom Figueiredo in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

This season Guzzo is swinging the bat at a .277 pace. He has hit 13 home runs and scored 35 times, while driving in 48. His on-base percentage is .325 and he has played in 67 games.
