Hub Parks had a good game, but he could not keep the Portland Green Sox from falling, 7-6, to the Dallas Centurions at Centurions Ballpark. The Portland left fielder was 3-3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 in the loss. The Green Sox have now dropped 5 straight.

Had Billy Marshall not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Marshall hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Centurions.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Marshall, "but we got it done."
