Starting pitcher Luis Sandoval was a major factor in the 6-1 Houston Bulls triumph over the Los Angeles Knights. The Great Western League-leading Bulls have a record of 43-21.

Art Cascone, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Cascone contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth inning to put Houston up, 4-1.
