| Thunderbirds Bridle Bulls, 3-1 | In a low-scoring game between the Seattle Thunderbirds and the Houston Bulls, pitcher Dave Lavallee was masterful on the mound. The Seattle right-hander spearheaded his team's 3-1 win. Charlie Van Dyke locked down his 5th save. The Thunderbirds go to 20-34 with the win.
Seattle left fielder Howard Brown Jr. contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball into right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 21st hit of the season and put the Thunderbirds ahead, 2-1.
"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Seattle manager Harry McCormick said afterward.
