Boone Helps Portland Cruise to 10-2 Win
A 4-RBI performance from Bobby Boone, who is on pace for 219 hits this season, helped the Portland Green Sox beat the Dallas Centurions, 10-2. The 4th-place Green Sox have won 4 consecutive games.

With Portland leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Boone hit a sinker from George Hunter for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Green Sox ahead, 5-1.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Portland manager Oscar Henderson.
