The Los Angeles Knights and Houston Bulls provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Los Angeles Knights got a superb performance from left fielder Bennie Griffith, but the Houston Bulls still won the game, 7-6. Griffith was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk. Jim Bob Jones was credited with the save for Houston, his 7th of the season.

Roy Plante, the 33-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Plante contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Houston up, 3-2.

Plante told the Houston Chronicle: "I think I thrive on conflict. It brings out my best."

Houston has an impressive 26-13 record.
