Centurions Roll to 8-3 Win Over Bulls
The 8-3 Dallas win over Houston was due largely to Al Gross. The Centurions second baseman went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Centurions now have a record of 15-17.

Ed Brown dealt the Bulls a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Dallas leading 4-2, Brown, who finished 5th in the GWL in strikeouts with 121 in 1947, hit a 1-1 curveball for a 2-run single.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Brown.
