Edwards Hurls Bulls to 4-0 Shutout Win
Bunny Edwards led the Houston Bulls to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds at Thunderbird Park today.

"My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Edwards recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location."

Edwards yielded 8 hits and had 6 strikeouts and no walks in the standout performance.

"I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Seattle manager Harry McCormick said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching."
