The Portland Green Sox knocked off the Dallas Centurions, 17-4, at Centurions Ballpark. Johnny Guzzo was a big reason Portland won. The second baseman was 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 triples, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 6. The loss makes Dallas 2-6.

With Portland leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Guzzo hit a cutter from George Rotondi for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Green Sox ahead, 6-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Guzzo told the Portland Today. "It's as simple as that."
