Getting a good performance from second baseman Spencer Smail, the Houston Bulls defeated the Dallas Centurions, 11-4. Smail went 3-3 with 3 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Bulls. The victory makes Houston 2-0.

With Houston leading 6-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Smail came up to bat against Dallas pitcher Tom Figueiredo. Smail hit a fastball to left for a bases-clearing double. His 3rd double of the season put the Bulls on top, 9-2.
