A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Philadelphia Keystones and Chicago Chiefs.

Philadelphia Keystones starter Sam Ivey was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Chicago Chiefs, 5-1. The loss makes Chicago 16-17.

With Philadelphia leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Ivey hit a fastball from Gene Amico for a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Keystones ahead, 3-0.

"We scored more than enough runs this time," said Philadelphia manager Carl Ames. "Now watch. The next game we'll probably struggle to get a base hit."
