Kings Rally For Late Win Over Stars
The Kansas City Kings took Los Angeles pitcher Paul Anderson's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Bigsby Stadium. The final score had Kansas City getting past the Stars, 6-4. Anderson went 7 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 6. The win was credited to 25-year old left-handed pitcher Alex Vaughan in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Harry Trinity took the loss. Kansas City is now 13-16.

Elmer Grace went 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Kansas City. The 26-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Harry Trinity. It was his 9th RBI of the season.
